On the Occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a program titled "Mahatma Gandhi's journey to Tirhut, Bihar" was celebrated at Sarda Sadan Pustkalya, Lalgunj, Vaishali.
Around 40 people came to celebrate Amrit Mahotsav by cycling from NCC, Patna. Prayers and street plays were presented by him in front of Gandhiji's statue.
The program has thrown light on Gandhi Ji's visit twice to Lalgunj in the years 1913 and 1936 after the occurrence of a major earthquake, he has also visited this library.
