Since time immemorial, we have been a worshipping women in the form of Kali, Durga, Annapurna, and Saraswati, among many other avatars. Today’s woman has within her the combined power of all the goddesses. This is evident in the way she manages the domestic and public domains of her life. The need of the hour is to realise her potential and respect her identity and existence as an important individual in society. To celebrate women, and their feats in several fields, and to promote the needs of underprivileged women, Urvashi Dance. Music and Cultural Society presents the dance ballet Vande Mataram: Bharat Ek Sone Ki Chidiya. The presentation celebrates our country and Vishwaguru.
The aim behind organizing this event is not only to empower 100 underprivileged girls, associated with the NGO, Urvashi Dance Music Art, and Cultural Society, by providing them with a platform to showcase their talent and create a place for themselves in the cultural world but also to celebrate India for her digital and technological advancements, scientific achievements, her vivid culture and traditions, her art and music and her status as an emerging superpower in the world.
