As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and India Japan @70, Team India in Japan with Indian diaspora and Japanese friends of India paid floral tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, on the occasion of "Parakram Diwas". Ambassador of India to Japan H.E. Shri Sibi George addressed the gathering. Ms Kanika Aggarwal, Director, of Vivekananda Cultural Centre gave the welcome remarks. Padma Shree Awardee Prof. Tomio Mizokami spoke about the ties of Neta Ji Subash Chandra Bose with Japan. The Movie- “Netaji Subash Chandra Bose - the forgotten hero” with Japanese subtitles was also screened on occasion. India and Japan enjoy close cultural and people-to-people exchanges. India and Japan are also celebrating 70 years of establishing diplomatic relations.
