Astro Tourism program at India Gate Lawns, Kartavya Path

The National Science Centre, under the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), in collaboration with Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (NMML), will be organizing an Astro Tourism event at the India Gate Lawns, Kartavya Path, from January 6 to 8, 2023, under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The activities planned for this event will include:
- Astro Talks by expert astronomers 2)
- Exhibition on Astronomy
- Story-telling related to celestial bodies
- Experience in using telescopes to view the moon craters
- Hands-on activities related to astronomy
- Photographic Panel Exhibition
- Astro-photography
- Night sky watching
- Solar system walk
and many more activities
The program will be a great learning experience for children of all age groups, as it will be interactive and hands-on, and the best way of presenting Science in a popular way. For adults too, the event will be of great interest.
