Swar Dharohar Festival

Kalanjali: an offering of art at Kartavya Path

The Swar Dharohar Festival is a Music, Art and Literature Festival that showcases the Art, Culture, Literature and Heritage of our great country. This is being organized by the Swar Dharohar Foundation in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Government of India, as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on December 2,3 and 4, 2022 at the Central Vista amphitheatres, India Gate Lawns, New Delhi.

It will be a three day Festival, which will begin in the morning with the morning ragas, and starring young upcoming artistes, particularly those who have received the Ustad Bismillah Khan award from the Sangeet Natak Akademi, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, sharing the stage with nationally renowned artistes. Young upcoming poets will attend the Literature Festival along with national level poets.

The aim of the Festival is to preserve and propagate the Heritage of Indian Music, Art and Literature and spread a positive message of peace and brotherhood. The Festival will bring classical music traditions to a mass audience and the young talented artistes will get a platform to perform before a large audience. The unexplored talent of the young budding artistes will get a global platform.

The participating artistes include: Ghulam Hasan, Padmashri Gulfam Ahmed, Fareed Hasan, Pandit Suvir Mishra, Mehtab Ali, Nooran Sisters, Anees Sabri, Swaraj Band, among many others
