Programs built around Human-Face of security

NSG:

Location Events
Manesar, Gurgram
  • Exposure visit of school children from nearby schools of Manesar Garrison:
    • NSG Museum visit
    • K-9 show
    • Rock climbing demo
    • Obstacle course demo
  • Felicitation of members of the Health Department of Haryana Govt. who facilitated the vaccination of the entire Force personnel and their families.
  • Felicitation of members from civil society who contributed to NSG plantation drive.
Regional Hubs Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata & Gandhinagar
  • Exposure visits of school children from nearby schools: -
    • K-9 show

  • Felicitation of members of Health department of respective Govt. who facilitated in the vaccination of the entire Force personnel and their families.

CRPF:

  • Under Civic Action Programme, the following activities will be undertaken in the LWE area:
    • Medical Camp
    • Distribution of Radio Sets (Transistors)
  • Under the “Madadgar” Scheme, operational in UT of J&K, CRPF will distribute medicines, medical aids, sewing machines, etc to the needy.
  • Display of Weapons for local public/youth by organizing exhibitions along with awareness programs.

BSF:

  • Conduct meetings with the local border population about the role of the Border population in Border Security and Management.
  • Organizing Essay writing, Speech, and Debate Competition among students of the Border area on the theme of Desh Ki Hifazat and Desh ki Suraksha.
  • Conduct of awareness program in border villages regarding recruitment drive in CAPFs.
  • Civic Action Program
  • Weapon Exhibition

SSB:

  • Conduct of anti-human trafficking workshop for local people/youths in Border Areas.
  • Conduct meetings/workshops with local public/students on the theme of “Public Partnership on Security of the Border Areas”.
  • Organizing Essay writing, Speech, and Debate competitions among students of the Border area on the theme of Desh Ki Hifazat – Desh Ki Suraksha and Human Face Security amongst local youths/students and children.
  • Conduct awareness program in remote border villages on recruitment process in CAPFs/Police/Army and encourage them to take part in recruitment drives of CAPFs/Army.

ITBP:

  • Awareness programs in the Border Areas and villages for the recruitment process in CAPFs/Police/Army and motivate the local populace to take part in the future recruitment process.
  • Medical and veterinary camps.
  • Civic Action Program.
  • Debate, essay writing, and elocution programs in schools on the given theme.
  • Display inspirational movies/documentaries in schools and civic bodies related to a national movement.
  • Awareness and training to people regarding response to disasters in Hills.
  • Display of weapon and communication gadgets in public.

CISF:

  • Demonstrations on general Safety and Security for the local populace and School Kids.
  • Information on Fire preventive techniques and use of fire extinguishers.
  • Display of weapons, equipment, and Security gadgets.
  • Organizing parade in CISF campuses and inviting local people including school children as viewers.
  • Showcasing human face of security by mass tree plantation drive on 10th March 2022.

Felicitating Martyrs

NSG:

Location Events
Manesar, Gurgram Felicitation of NOK of 14 NSG Martyrs.
Regional Hubs Chennai Felicitation of NOK of 03 NSG Martyrs.
Regional Hubs Gandhinagar Felicitation of NOK of 01 NSG Martyr.

CRPF:

  • Reaching out to NOKs of Martyrs by visiting family members at their villages/place of residence and organizing a felicitation ceremony for Martyr’s family.

BSF:

  • Organizing felicitation ceremony for family members of Martyrs residing in Border belt and presenting them shawl/memento.
  • Screenings of “Short documentary film on BSF – Highlighting its role and achievements” in schools and colleges (Duration 25-30 minutes)
  • Photo Exhibition of Brave hearts of BSF.

SSB:

  • Display of short films on patriotism to create awareness on the Greatness of the Country and valor/victory and sacrifices made by Defense Forces/CAPFs.
  • “Bravehearts of SSB” – Photo exhibitions highlighting their valour to the public.
  • Organizing felicitating ceremony for family members of Martyrs residing in Border Areas and giving them a memento in the memory of our Martyr.

ITBP:

  • Felicitation of martyr’s family at their villages by the nearest formations.
  • Paying homage to the Martyr at the school from where they had studied and inspiration talk to the students.
  • Paying homage by the family of the Martyrs at martyr’s column of the nearest unit/ formations.
  • Naming of new infrastructure created in 2021 on the name of the martyr.

Assam Rifles:

  • Wreath Laying at Assam Rifles War Memorial, Laitkor, and Shillong.

CISF:

  • Display of short videos based on CISF bravery to CISF personnel and their wards followed by group discussions.
  • Inviting Martyrs families at Unit campuses for interaction.
  • Observance of 02 minutes silence for CISF martyrs.

Programs by CAPF Wives Welfare Association

NSG:

Location Events
Manesar, Gurgram Distribution of School Bags with stationery items to the school going children of: -
  • helpers (laborers) residing at Manesar Garrison.
  • Children of PRERNA School (School for differently-abled children).
  • NSG Primary School comes from an underprivileged society.
Regional Hubs Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata & Gandhinagar Distribution of School Bags with stationery items to the school going children of helpers (laborers) residing inside the campus and nearby areas.

CRPF:

  • Organizing felicitation ceremony for “Veer Naris”
  • Organizing financial literacy programs to empower women.
  • Organizing Debate competitions on Women’s contribution to our Freedom Struggle.

BSF:

  • Financial Literacy for women:
    • Use of digital payment modes.
    • Usage of Apps like Paytm, Google Pay, etc.
    • A demo will be arranged on the use of digital Apps.
    • Spreading awareness about precautions to be followed while using online payment mode.
  • Be creative:
    • Deshbhakti Geet Writing competition.
    • Showcasing the Indian folk art, Painting competition – Madhubani painting, Warli art, Gond Art, Alpana, etc.
  • Fit India:
    • A talk by a dietician to promote eating healthy eating habits among ladies and wards of the BSF personnel.
  • My Favorite national Monument :
    • A poster/drawing competition shall be organized for the students of Ankur Schools on the topic My Favorite National Monument.

SSB:

  • Organizing “Self Defence Training for Women and Girls” by SSB Wives Welfare Association.
  • Conduct a cultural program/Nukkad-Natak on the theme of “Women Empowerment”, “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”.

ITBP:

  • Organizing self-defence training for women and girls.
  • Cultural program on national movement theme and motivational talk to inspire girl child.
  • Felicitation of “ Veer Naari”.
  • Digital literacy workshop.

Assam Rifles:

  • Welfare Programs by Assam Rifles Wives Welfare Association (ARWWA)

CISF:

  • Awareness program on women’s health and family welfare.
  • Organizing Cultural activities, quizzes, essay writing, and singing competitions for CISF families and their wards on the theme of “Desh Ki Hifazat – Desh Ki Suraksha”.

Band display at 750 locations across the country

CRPF:

  • Total 75 Band Displays by 35 Group Centres of CRPF at places of historical importance/prominent locations associated with Freedom movement/Public Places in their respective AOR.

BSF:

  • Band Display is proposed to be conducted at important locations i.e. all Ftr HQrs/all SHQrs/all Trg Instns including STCs and BSF Battalions. (Duration 30 minutes)

SSB:

  • All SSB Band teams to conduct band displays at prominent location associated with freedom movement in the following cities:
    • New Delhi
    • Lucknow, U.P.
    • Ranikhet, Uttrakhand
    • Gwaldam, Uttrakhand
    • Patna, Bihar
    • Siliguri, West Bengal
    • Guwahati, Assam
    • Tezpur, Assam
    • Bhopal, M.P.

ITBP:

  • Band Display at prominent locations related to movement and freedom struggle.

Assam Rifles:

  • Brass and Pipe Band Display.
    • HQ DGAR, Shillong
    • HQ IGsAR at Kohima, Mantripukhri and Srikona.
    • ARTC&S, Dimapur
    • Location of 12 X Sector HQs.

CISF:

  • Band Display at CISF campuses wherever the band personnel are available.
