Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management celebrated World Tourism Day on 27th September'2022. The theme UNWTO declared was Rethinking Tourism. The institute celebrated and created awareness among the students of IITTM about this year's theme. And there were multiple cultural activities such as a Cultural walk representing the States of India, the State Tableau Competition which were conveying the culture, heritage, language, art, music, cuisine, etc. of the states of India, and Dance performances by both MBA (TTM) and BBA(TT) students which included Garba, Bhangra, Kathak and Manipuri. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Mirnal Chawla (principal Director of Audit, Industry and Corporate Affairs) and Prof. Avinash Tiwari (Vice Chancellor - Jiwaji University) and Prof. Alok Sharma (Director - IITTM), Dr. C. S. Barua (Nodal Officer - IITTM, Gwalior), Dr. Saurabh Dixit (Associate Professor - IITTM), Dr. Ramesh Devrath (Asst. Professor - IITTM), Dr. Ravider Dogra (Asst. Professor - IITTM) and other faculty, non-teaching staffs and students of IITTM. The program was coordinated and planned by the Cultural Coordinator Dr. Kamakshi Maheshwari (Asst. Professor - IITTM).
