Keeping in mind the instructions of the Punjab Government and the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahautsav, today Municipal Council Nangal conducted cleaning in various wards and held meetings with women in which they were encouraged through demos and they were encouraged to do segregation, home composting, and Conducted an awareness campaign to stop single use plastic completely.
Apart from this, during this campaign, the citizens were also given detailed information about the Solid Waste Management Rule 2016 and the instructions of the NGT (National Green Tribunal).
