Friendly cricket match between DC-11 and Samango-11 (Swachh Muktsar Abhiyan NGO) at National Public School, Sri Muktsar Sahib with the cooperation of District Administration and Aggarwal Samaj Sabha Registered Punjab Done with this.
Meanwhile constituency MLA S. Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar attended as chief guest. Encouraging the players, saying that the Punjab Government is fully committed to enhancing sports.
Deputy Commissioner Shri Muktsar Sahib Shri Vineet Kumar informed that the cricket match is dedicated to awareness of drugs among youth and on the occasion of Maharaj Agrasen Jayanti. He said that sports sends a good message of drug awareness among young people and keeping their bodies healthy.
The match was played between the employees of the District Administrative Complex and the teams of Swachh Muktsar Abhiyan NGO (Samango) under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner, Shri Muktsar Sahib.
He said the main purpose of the match is to encourage district office employees to play sports and keep them physically fit. Appealed to the youngsters to participate in sports as much as possible and support the Punjab government against the elimination of drugs.
