Ambassador Srivastava attended the "Weekend of peace, non-violence, and meditation" in Grad Vukovar, an event by Joga u svakodnevnom životu Zagreb, supported by the City of Vukovar and Embassy of India, Zagreb at the Eltz Castle. The event was also part of the celebration on the occasion of International Day of Non-Violence and #AmritMahotsav attended, among others, by Mr. Josip Paloš, Head of the Administrative Department for Social Activities of the City of Vukovar, and Swami Vivek Puri, representing YIDL. After the forum, the attendees went to Eltz Castle, where the tree of peace has been growing since 2017. On this occasion, a memorial plaque was inaugurated, and those gathered offered their prayers for peace and lit candles. A special stamp was given to all the events by the children, the "Vukovarski Golubići" choir, in which the little ones wholeheartedly, as only children know how, supported the peace with their singing as part of the tribute.
