On the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) launched a tree plantation drive near Pirana Dumpsite under Mission Million Trees with the commitment of Green Ahmedabad, which was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel by planting a tree.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel first wished all those present on the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday and said that the Corporation (AMC) has given a big gift to the Prime Minister on his birthday by planting 1 lakh 75 thousand trees that provide more oxygen.
Chief Minister further said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is a visionary leader, we are advancing the journey of service and development that he began as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, at a fast pace. He added that Corona epidemic taught us the importance of oxygen and nature. It is very important to maintain the balance of nature. Concerned about the climate, Shri Narendra Modi himself started a separate department of climate change years ago as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. The Prime Minister has given the mantra of back to basics. We will all work together to maintain the balance by stopping the exploitation of nature. AMC will prepare oxygen park by planting one lakh 75 thousand trees at Pirana Dumpsite under ‘Mission Million Trees’ with the commitment of Green Ahmedabad, added the chief minister.
