As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, HCI Accra organized National Youth Day on 12 January 2022 with High Commissioner paying tribute to Swami Vivekanand highlighting his life message urging youth for Action & Compassion". An essay writing competition was organized on the occasion. The details of the event were shared on social media platforms for wide publicity and winners of the Essay writing were awarded during the occasion. The event was participated by members of the Indian community including representatives of different Indian Associations and friends of India in Ghana. The links of the inaugural function of the 25th National Youth Festival by Hon’ble Prime Minister were also shared extensively on social media. Short videos depicting the life and message/teachings of Swami Vivekananda were also shared on Mission's social media account.
