Onboarding of shortlisted technologies under UpTech: As a part of ARAI Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav week from 10th to 16th January 2022, TechNovuus announced the results of the flagship innovation and up-leveling program called “UpTech” The program was launched in August 2021 by TechNovuus. Under the program, 11 problem statements were posted which received applications from more than 16 applicants located across the country. The applicants were evaluated by the subject matter experts; who shortlisted a total of 7 applicants that were exceptional in their innovation. The shortlisted 7 applicants would now be considered for mentoring and funding initiatives by TechNovuus. The opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Rajendra Petkar, President- ARAI & CTO-Tata Motors who explained the importance of innovation in the making of Atma Nirbhar Bharat. His delivery was followed by reading of the message from Honourable Minister of Heavy Industries by Shri Ashwin Subramanian, Deputy General Manager ARAI The details of identified areas for start-up participation and Uptech selection process was explained by Dr. Reji Mathai, Director ARAI, and the names of shortlisted solution providers was done by Ms. Ujjwala Karle, Deputy Director ARAI. The Guest of Honor, Ms. Nidhi Chhibber, Additional Secretary, MHI reiterated the commitment of MHI to raise India’s innovation index and enumerated the various schemes being launched by MHI. This was followed by the address by Honourable Minister of State, Ministry of Heavy Industries Shri. Krishan Lal Gurjar, who exhorted the organizers & stakeholders to take forward the culture of innovation. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Vijay Pankhawala, Deputy Director ARAI, who thanked the participants and Team TechNovuus for the successful event.
