Launch of the hackathon on virtual platform As a part of ARAI Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav week from 10th to 16th January 2022, TechNovuus is launching a student #hackathon on Smart Safe and Sustainable mobility on 13th January 2022. Hackathons have become increasingly popular in recent years as a modern tool to leverage innovation and develop solutions for complex problems, products, and services within a short time. TechNovuus intends to conduct a hackathon in ARAI with around 10 problem statements around a broad theme of safe, sustainable, and smart mobility solutions for Atmanirbhar Bharat. In his opening remarks Dr. Reji Mathai, Director, ARAI enumerated the initiatives by ARAI following which the message of Hon'ble Minister, Minister of Heavy Industries was read. Dr. Abhay Jere, Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) at the Ministry of Education, explained the importance of Hackathon and its role in shaping the future of technology in India. He also shared the opportunities India has created with the rest of the nations through the success of hackathons. Ms. Ujjwala Karle, Deputy Director, ARAI presented an overview of the student engagement programs held at ARAI. Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Heavy Industries officially inaugurated the Hackathon and addressed the young minds of India. Finally, the program was concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Venkataraj K, Dy. Director-General, SAE India.
