PPPU, Thirumayam Unit is spread across forty (40) acres of land adjacent to Tiruchirappalli - Karaikudi National Highways. PPPU had organized Sapling Plantation inside the Factory Premises on 10.01.2022 as a contribution towards green environment, wherein General Manager and Head (PPPU & PC), AGM (Operations), DGM (HR), representatives from the Participative Unions, Works Committee members, and few other employees planted the saplings. A total of Twenty (20) saplings were planted and a total of Twenty-Five Employees in the Executive, Supervisor, and Workmen Cadre participated in the sapling plantation event. The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) Banners and Messages of the Honourable Minister of Heavy Industries and the Honourable Minister of State of the Ministry of Heavy Industries were placed in Prominent locations both inside and outside the factory premises. The message of Honourable Minister and Honourable Minister of State of Ministry of Heavy Industries was read out by General Manager & Head (PPPU & PC).
