On 12 January 2022, the Consulate General of India, Toronto organized various events on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, which is also celebrated as National Youth Day of India. This included an online quiz on the life and ideology of Swami Vivekananda and a webinar on "Vision of Youth for India@2047". The quiz received enthusiastic participation from Indian students of the University of Toronto, Dalhousie University, Seneca College, and Lambton College. During the webinar, Consul General delivered a talk on the life and philosophy of Swami Vivekananda urging the students to take inspiration from Swamiji's life and work for the betterment of their motherland. After this, the students of participating universities and colleges shared their vision of India@2047. More than 150 students participated in these virtual celebrations. The event concluded with the announcement of the winners of the quiz.
