Forum (Webinar) on Flex Fuel – Day 1: 10th January 2022 The Flex Fuel Forum (Webinar) was arranged on 10th Jan jointly by SAE India and SAE Brazil on the occasion of AKAM. The topic selected was relevant for the present time due to the high interest in developing flex-fuel vehicles in India. The introduction of FFV will allow the reduction in environmental pollution as well as sustainable growth for the agricultural sector in India. The event was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Jeetendra Singh, JS – Ministry of Heavy Industries in the august presence of Ms. Margarete Gandini, Secretary, Ministry of Economics, Brazil. The message of Honourable Minister, MHI, Shri Mahendranath Pandey, and Honourable Minister of State, MHI, Shri Krishnapal, were read by Shri N B Dhande, Sr. Deputy Director, ARAI. The JS, Shri Singh focused on the initiatives of the government in promoting green mobility through various ministry schemes such as PLI and FAME. Madam Margarete focused on the areas of co-operation between India and Brazil for wider propagation of ethanol blending. The various speakers from the automotive industry in India and Brazil gave details on various aspects of Ethanol technology including Dr. Plinio Nastari, Dr. Brahmadevan, Dr.Guilherme, and Dr. S S Thipse.
