Main Theme : Freedom Struggle: Traditional Folk Dance & Dance Drama Programme with Jan Bhagidari (Open to Public) with approx 300 participants
Description: North Eastern Regional Office, Guwahati of Engineering Projects (India) Limited (A Govt. of India Enterprise) organised an event on 10 January 2022 on the subject of “Traditional Folk Dance and Dance-Drama Programme” at Assam to celebrate “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Government of India has taken initiative to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.. The event was centred on showcasing glorious history and culture of North Eastern part of India. Artists from Sadhna, Theater Agency performed on National Anthem, Group Song, Group Dance (Dedicated to Freedom Fighters), Mime, Patriotic Song, Traditional Folk Dance, Group Dance on Vande Mataram and Volunteers from Sonapur College also delivered performance on Classical Dance on Patriotic Song, Lalilang Dance and Bihu dance.
