To mark the celebration of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, the Central Zone Gujarat Level Disabled Children’s competition called “Umang Utsav” has been organized at Nadiad. The competition was conducted in association with the Sports, Youth And Cultural Activities Department (GOG) and District Youth Development Officer, Kheda (Nadiad), with the help of Rotary Club Nadiad Service and Research Trust Nadiad. Approximately 130 disabled children have performed their talent in this competition such as storytelling (Lok Varta), ‘Garba’, poetry writing (Kavya Lekhan), essay writing (Niband Lekhan), elocution competition (Vaktrutva), and play (Natak), etc. The respected collector marked his presence in the event to encourage the children.
