Ambassador, all India-based officials, and local staff watched a live video of EAM and MOS on good governance on Dec 21 at 3 p.m. in the Chancery. After this Ambassador explained the value and importance of good governance. He emphasized making less government and more governance by doing all our work efficiently, diligently, and with humility so that people know that we are approachable and here to serve them better. On Dec 22 we received appreciation and Thanks from a member of the Indian diaspora for issuing his passport and other consular services promptly and efficiently. His comments are as follows:
"Friend, I feel like sharing my experience and saluting the Embassy of India Baku. I had applied for my passport renewal and submitted the photographs on 21st December 2021...Today my spouse in Mumbai received a message from the local Polis station which I have shared above. I don't have words to say ....also I could not believe the supersonic speed at which Mr.Ram, from the Embassy of India, has processed the documents...In less than 24 hours of submitting the documents for Passport Renewal, the local polis station has initiated the process. This is the new India."
