Vaidya Ganpat Ram was born in 1915 in the village of Madipur, Delhi. His father’s name was Shri Ganga Ram. He had studied D.I.M.M. Ganpat ji was a doctor by profession. He participated in Individual Satyagraha (1941) and Quit India Movement (1942). He was sentenced to one year’s imprisonment in 1941 and six months’ rigorous imprisonment in 1942. He was eventually put under house arrest for two years in 1943. Their property and medicine shop were also confiscated.
