Khazan Singh

Many fighters have played a major role in the freedom struggle. One of them is Khazan Singh. Khazan Singh was born in 1898 in Delhi. His father’s name was Shri Nihal Singh. He got his education till Intermediate. He served as a teacher in a high school. Khazan Singh participated in Individual Satyagraha (1941) and Quit India Movement (1942). He was sentenced to 1 year imprisonment in 1941. Again on October 11, 1943, he was kept in the Central Jail of Delhi after giving one year rigorous punishment. On October 19, 1943, Khazan was transferred to the prison of Ferozepur. Finally, in 1945, he was sentenced to one year’s rigorous imprisonment.
