Kohli Krishna Das was born in 1896. He participated in the Civil Disobedience Movement of 1932-34. He was the manager of ‘Hindustan-Times’. Both Mr. Hasin Hasan (Manager) and Kohli Krishna Das were imprisoned with Jawahar Press for printing a book titled “Eight Days Outside Prison” written by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The trial against them continued for two months. Eventually both were acquitted. They were kept captive for two months in connection with the Congress session held near Ghantaghar in Delhi. After his release, he was placed under house arrest in his own locality.
