The real name of Shri Vijay Singh Pathik was Bhoop Singh. He was born in a Gurjar family, at Guthawali village, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. In Indore, he came in touch with Shri Sachindra Nath Sanyal, who introduced him to the then supreme revolutionary leader Shri Ram Bihari Bose, and inspired by him, Vijay Singh Pathik became an active member of the revolutionary team. The Government thereof went against him on account of his revolutionary activities and issued an arrest warrant against him. He, in the guise of an ascetic, turned up in Chittor. During that period, the atrocities being done by Bijolia Thakur on the people were on an increase. Ascetic Sitaram ji persuaded him to turn up to Bijolia. Consequent upon this, he reached Bijolia in 1917 and set up Vidya Pracharini Sabha.
Thereafter, he went to Wardha from Bijolia and began publishing the newspaper 'Rajasthan Kesari'. After sometime he established the Rajasthan Seva Sangh in Ajmer and began publishing a daily titled 'Naveen Rajasthan'. Shri Vijay Singh Pathik was also closely associated with Gandhiji. He had a messenger named as Tulsa Bhil who was capable of communicating the messages of the revolutionary by walking 17 miles in the span of a day. He worked with Ram Narayan Choudhary during the course of freedom struggle. He also used to write dramas as well as poems that worked as a great source of inspiration for other revolutionaries.
After the Indian independence, in the year 1954, this great revolutionary passed away due to heatstroke.
